Porsche Wireless Apple CarPlay Enable for PCM5 Model

For a car without Porsche Connect or without Porsche Connect Plus or Navigation.
The installation of the Apple CarPlay interface provides the hardware required in the vehicle of using iPhone apps even in the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system. When you connect your phone via a USB charging cable, you can use phone “Apps” on your PCM display.

To use the apps, you need:
– iPhone 5 or higher with iOS 7.1 or higher
– Availability of Apple CarPlay

For 2019+ 718, Panamera, Macan, Cayenne, 911, and the all-new Taycan

Please note that fitting Apple Car Play does not add Voice Control Option (QH1). The voice control activation button on the steering column switch is used to activate the Siri function through Apple Car Play.
